The red represents the red room Jane's Aunt put her in to punish her at the beginning of the novel. The black is for the overall tone of this gothic romance. The different greens represent the moors. The grays and blues are for her dresses. The other moody colors are also for the settings and clothing of the novel. The lighter grey is for the mists on the moors. The top color is for her eventual marriage to Mr. Rochester... such a dreamy color to me. Hidden within is a bird charm for the quote "I am not bird: and no net ensnares me". Also, a white tuft for dear Helen Burns.
